BTS once again topped the list with its new album Map of the Soul: 7.

It is the first record of Korean singers as the fourth in their career and has achieved the shortest period since The Beatles.

According to Billboard on March 1, BTS’ regular 4th album Map of the Soul: 7 topped the main album chart Billboard 200.

This chart will be posted on the billboard website on March 3rd.

Billboard quoted Nielsen Music data in an article posted on the day, saying that Map of the Soul: 7, released on the 21st of last month, sold 422,000 albums by February 27th.

The actual album sales are 347,000 albums and the rest is the Billboard sums up the number of traditional album sales, which is converted into ‘Streaming equivalent albums: SEA’ and ‘Track equivalent albums: TEA’.

BTS’ first week sales are the highest of the albums released this year, and it sold twice as much as the first week record of Map of the Soul: Persona (230,000 albums).

BTS became the first Korean singer to be named as the top singer on the billboard for the Four times in a row.

According to Billboard, BTS has reached number one on four albums in the shortest period since The Beatles as a group.

The Beatles released four Billboard 200 top-notch albums in a year and five months from Y’esterday and Today: 1966 to ‘Magical Mystery Tour: 1968’.
