Twice will expand its reach beyond Asia to the world in partnership with the famous US label Republic Records.
Universal Music’s Republic Records told local media on Monday that it had signed a strategic collaboration with JYP Entertainment for Twice’s global performance.
Republic Records introduced Twice as “a group that continues to march with mega hit songs and music videos,” and highlighted the achievements of exceeding 8 million albums in Korea and Japan.
Also mentioned, “will show the music of K-pop’s strongest girl group Twice to the whole world.”
In addition, JYP Entertainment is called “K Pop’s Best Label” and “it has produced a lot of Super Stars such as Wonder Girls, 2PM, GOT7, DAY6, Stray Kids and ITZY”.
JYP Entertainment CEO Jung Wook said, “We are delighted to be with Republic Records, No.1 label. I hope that the two companies will be able to present a new future of K-pop to fans around the world through Twice. “
Republic Records is a record label founded by the Monte Lipman and Avery Lipman brothers, and boasts a unique presence that has been ranked #1 on Billboard’s label lists over the past few years.

Twice is currently conducting a large-scale world tour in 17 regions around the world.
