WJSN Takes 1st Win For “UNNATURAL” On “The Show”; Performances By PENTAGON, Kim Sejeong, And More
BTS is making headlines after appearing at the New York exhibition.
BTS visited ‘New York Clearing-2020’ by Famous sculptor Antony Gormley, set up at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 3, the last exhibition of “CONNECT, BTS” on February 20th.
‘New York Clearing’ is the first outdoor large installation to be presented in Antony Gormley’s ‘Clearing’ series, and the photo shows seven members standing in front of the work in the background of the New York panoramic view beyond ‘East River’.
BTS visited the “CONNECT, BTS” Seoul exhibition hall in Dong Dea Moon Design Plaza on February 13th to focus attention on fans around the world.
“CONNECT, BTS” is a project in which BTS collaborates with five cities, 22 writers and curators around the world, covering not only music but also the realm of contemporary art.
Antony Gormley, who participated in the “CONNECT, BTS” New York exhibition, said in a question and answer with the members, “It seems really cool to make something that is connected to cities and artists from all over the world.
The idea that this project can strengthen connection and communication is really cool, “he said, expressing his expectations for this global project.
The members also expressed their views on the work through the AR docent, which can be experienced at the exhibition site, saying, “Through the performance of the artists, we look back on our appearance and think about what connects, reconciles, and heals each other.”
Meanwhile, “CONNECT, BTS” was successfully held in five cities in London, Germany, Berlin, Argentina, Buenos Aires, Seoul, and New York, and ended the long journey on March 27 next month after the closing of the exhibition in New York.
