SEVENTEEN Sets New Record For Foreign Male Artists In Japan As “Not Alone” Goes Double Platinum

SEVENTEEN’s latest Japanese single is now a certified hit!

On May 14, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced that SEVENTEEN’s third Japanese single album “Not Alone” has received an official double platinum certification after selling over 500,000 copies. According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified gold at 100,000 copies sold, platinum at 250,000, and double platinum at 500,000.

Notably, “Not Alone,” which was released on April 21, managed to achieve the feat in less than a month. It also marks SEVENTEEN’s second consecutive Japanese single to go double platinum after “Fallin’ Flower.”
