TXT has shared a fun glimpse behind the scenes of their latest music video!

On August 17, TXT made their highly-anticipated return with their repackaged album “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” and its title track “LO$ER=LO♡ER.” The group has now released a clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the members filming the music video for their latest title track.

As each of the five members has his own emotional storyline in the music video, Huening Kai remarks, “In my opinion, out of all the music videos we’ve filmed, I think this one involves the most acting. So please keep an eye on each of the members’ individual acting skills.”

Following the music video’s release, there has been a great deal of speculation about the meaning of the literal cliffhanger ending—did the members really drive off a cliff together, or was Yeonjun alone and imagining his bandmates being there with him?

Early on in the new clip, Yeonjun may hint at a potential answer: describing the scene where he sheds tears standing alone outside his car, he explains, “It’s a lonely and sad scene where I think of my past memories with the other members, where I smile but also feel sad.”

Soobin later talks about the meaning of the song itself, explaining, “[Our previous title track ‘0x1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)‘] was about a boy who felt helpless and couldn’t do anything because he had frozen up while facing his harsh reality, but then meets a girl and thinks, ‘I’d be okay as long as I’m with her.’ ‘LO$ER=LO♡ER’ is an extension of that story, and it’s saying, ‘I was originally going to stay frozen and not do anything, but if I’m with you, I can fight against the world or run away.’”
