BTS has swept the top of the charts of major European albums including UK Officialcharts, Germany and France with its new album.
UK Officialcharts reported that BTS topped the ‘Office Album Chart Top 100’ with the 4th album Map of the Soul: 7.
BTS is the first Korean singer to be ranked #1 on UK Official Album charts for ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’.
This record makes BTS the first Korean singer to put two albums on top of the UK Chart in a row.
UK Officialcharts reveals ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ is “the fastest selling album of the year”
Title song ‘ON’ reached #21 on the singles chart.
In addition, Jimin’s solo song ‘Filter’ has entered the top 100 of the official single chart.

BTS ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ also reached number one for the first time on the German Official Music Charts (offizielle deutsche charts).
Germany’s official music chart announced on SNS on Friday that it was the first time that an Asian pop band has reached number one.
The official French chart compiled by the French Music Association (Syndicat National de l’Edition Phonographique, SNEP) also announced this week that “Map of the Sol: 7” debuted at number one on the album charts.
The album also peaked at the top of the album charts in the Netherlands and Ireland.
The fact that the album charts are dominated in the European music market, which is usually known to be more regional than the US Billboard, suggests that BTS’s global fandom is expanding further.
UK, Germany and France are among the world’s top five music markets, along with the United States and Japan.
